OACS Mission Statement and Goals

The Atlanta University Center Consortium Office of Academic and Career Services exists to assist students in realizing their fullest potential by providing programming and services that enhance their development through college and in their future endeavors. Our mission is to inspire, equip, and encourage students to take action that changes the world.

Currently, the Office provides programming and services in the areas of dual degree engineering, career planning and placement service, and coordination of Consortium-wide activities, programs and events.

Our goals include:

  • Ensuring student development is the basis of our work
  • The promotion of collaboration in all aspects of our work
  • Assessment and evaluation to ensure that we are efficient and effective in our work


The Office of Academic and Career Services manages the Dual Degree Engineering Program (AUCC DDEP) and Career Planning and Placement Service (AUCC CPPS).
